How to Adopt

At AA Dog Rescue we are so proud to be able to say that we have rehomed over 1000 dogs in 2 years!

We also pride ourselves in our ability to match dogs with their new families and the quality of the backup, help and advice available to new adopters. When you adopt an AA dog, you very much become party of the family, with access to a vibrant Facebook community and a wealth of helpful information.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from AA, here is a quick "How To":

Please come and visit and if you have another dog then bring your dog and spend as much time as you like with the dogs.

If there is one that suits you pay a £50 deposit and we then bring the dog to you. This is when we also do our home check. We also do a further meet and greet with any resident dog(s) and any cat test.

If all is good, you have a weeks trial to make sure all is well. The remaining £150 is payable on delivery.

They are neutered, chipped, vacc'd, wormed, fleaed, have 4 weeks free insurance and lifetime back up. If you decide you do not want to keep the dog within the weeks trial then we will refund the adoption fee less the deposit. Please note that the adoption fee is non refundable with puppies.

Ourselves and our behaviourist are also available to speak to at any time during the trial and once adopted.

Puppies will be neutered when old enough.

We are open everyday except Tuesday from 12 noon - 5pm - no appointment is necessary.
