Why Adopt from AA Dog Rescue
Testimonials

"The match was perfect for our family."
"Finding a rescue when you have a child isn't always easy, but we didn't want to buy a puppy. The application process with AA Dog Rescue was simple while still showing they really cared about finding the right match. Freya has been the perfect dog for our family. We were so happy that we later adopted another AA dog, Rio. The Team are always there to help and I couldn't recommend them more".

"Three amazing dogs and incredible support"
"We first me Nemo at the Bradwell centre (Essex) and after getting to know him he came home with us a few weeks later. Not long after we adopted Loki as a friend for him and later Luna joined our family from Spain. The rescue team have always answered any questions and made the whole adoption process easy from day one. Even after sadly losing Luna, the support from the rescue has been amazing".

I would not hesitate recommending AA Dog Rescue
After attempting to rehome a dog from the UK but being refused constantly because we had a cat we turned to AA rescue.
We were shown dogs which fitted our criteria the support care and consideration has been endless since adopting Millie in 2023.
AA rescue has become far more than a rehoming service. It’s a United family who’s lead figure Charley works tirelessly to ensure the welfare of the dogs she re homes.
I would not hesitate recommending AA Dog Rescue and I’m proud to be part of this outstanding family..

My application for very straight forward
I adopted Milly in July 2025, I fell in love with her photo.
From putting in my application to getting her was very straight forward. I asked lots of questions, received lots of videos in response and I am overjoyed to have Milly in my life, she's everything and more and adapted to home life perfectly.
I cant thank the team at AADR enough.

"We were kept updated throughout the whole journey".
"We adopted Jax in February 2024 and he is our first AA dog. The whole process was so simple and the communication and support from the team was amazing - from photos and videos to updates during the journey from Spain.
Even during the drive over, everyone in the Facebook group was kept up to date with videos and messages. Jax is such a lovable dog and loves everyone he meets.
Even though we live in Cornwall, miles away from AA Dog Rescue, we would definitely come back to adopt another dog when the time is right".

We wouldn't hesitate to give AA 10 out of 10 and 5 stars
We adopted Otto from AA in August 2023 as a friend for Izzy our Bodeguero who we had adopted from another Spanish rescue. We were sent videos and descriptions of temperament to make sure that Otto would be a good friend for Izzy. He was perfect, naughty but nice. Sadly Izzy passed away just after Christmas and Otto has been lost without her, as have we, so back to AA and Poppy arrives later this month again after videos and conversations. The help and advice you receive is second to none and we wouldn’t hesitate to give AA 10 out of 10 and 5 stars.

Poppy has now joined Otto

The process was great, easy to do!
These 4 are not easy to get together for a pic but this is the one time I did!
I had a Westie and had thought about another dog for some time. Started looking at rescues and was recommended AA by a colleague.
Applied for a boy who was called BamBam by the rescue, I just fell in love with his face and my application was successful! His name is Eugene now.
The process was great, easy to do, plenty of updates and I've since adopted 3 more!
