At AA Dog Rescue, our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome abandoned, abused and unwanted dogs across the UK & Spain, giving every dog the opportunity to live a safe, happy and fulfilled life.
Since 2013, we have helped rescue and rehome more that 12,000 dogs, working tirelessly to give vulnerable dogs a second chance regardless of age, breed or background.
Many of the dogs that come into our care have experienced neglect, abandonment or hardship. Some arrive frightened and underweight, while others simply need patience, medical care and the opportunity to trust again. Every dog receives the care, support and compassion they need before beginning their journey to a forever home.

We rescued our beautiful boy 7 months ago from AADR and the whole process was perfect. We were considered fairly and easily and not judged for having an elderly cat. (A reason we were turned down by a UK rescue centre) we knew we could make it work from 28 years of previous experience. Our vet said she was shocked at what good condition he was in after being in rescue for nearly 3 years. Ie full vaccination record from birth, great coat, teeth and health wise. I absolutely support AADR and would recommend them to anyone considering rescuing a dog. The whole team are amazing and loads of aftercare, advice and help on their Facebook page for as long as is required. Perfect!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful people doing a brilliant job rescuing and rehoming dogs. They kept me up to date with videos and information when I approached them about adopting a dog and even when I got home with my rescue they were very quick to answer any questions I asked them and were so reassuring during and after the adoption process. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend AA dog rescue. Adopt don’t shop.

Adopted my dog (AADR lily) through the rescue they have been incredibly helpful, kind and wonderful. Will be getting my young girl in for her spay in the next few weeks, incredible work they do in rescuing these dogs and supporting the new owners.

I have recently used AADR for the transport of my 2 dogs to Spain from the U.K. .I Can honestly say I have never met such a lovely lady as Charlie . She is fantastic in every way, my dogs took to her straight away and went inside of the house they do that with nobody she’s an amazing person and you just can imagine how she treats the dogs. Even though the dog van Harris 24 Dogs, you could’ve eaten off the floor. It was so clean this group for Transporting Dogs is amazing.. I have used other couriers on three occasions one was perfect but couldn’t book in with her and the other two were they left a lot to be desired I can imagine you like myself want your Dogs to be happy and comfortable in the travel and I can honestly say they came away brilliant. I would totally recommend this Transport outfit 100%. There was no flaws in it. I will certainly be using these all the time now. Well done Shirley. You did an amazing job with Siren and Charlie , and I’d like to thank you again for looking after us so well.
