HIS STORY


Basil was found wandering alone during the summer.


Perhaps he simply became separated from his family during a walk. Perhaps he was abandoned. The truth is, we’ll never know because Basil can’t tell us.


What we do know is that he wasn’t microchipped when he was found, making it almost impossible to trace where he came from. Sadly, despite efforts to find an owner, no one came looking for him.


It’s impossible not to wonder how such a lovely little dog could have been left without a family.


Despite everything, Basil hasn’t lost his faith in people. His tail still wags, his heart remains open, and every day he greets the world with optimism and affection.


Now safely in our care, Basil is ready to leave his past behind and begin the life he has always deserved—a life filled with love, security and belonging.

Basil’s summer began with uncertainty, but now he’s hoping it will end with something far more wonderful—a loving family and a place to finally call home.
