HIS STORY


Chance was found near the fires, and we believe he had been hit by a car.


When he was rescued, he was unable to use his legs. X-rays revealed nothing to explain his condition, so we gave him time to rest and regain his strength before introducing pool physiotherapy.


The results have been incredibly encouraging.


Chance is now in foster care with many other dogs and has settled in beautifully. He gets around well and continues to improve every day. He isn’t taking any medication and, although he has an unusual gait, his mobility is very good.


We expect him to continue improving, but what matters most is how well he is enjoying his life now.

CHANCE – A LITTLE BOY WITH AN EXTRAORDINARY SPIRIT


Chance has been through a frightening start, yet today he is a happy, affectionate little dog who has embraced every opportunity he’s been given.


He loves people, enjoys canine company and has a particular talent for finding his way onto the sofa when a cuddle is available. We’ve completely fallen for him, and now we’re looking for someone equally special to become his forever family.

Chance has a wonderfully affectionate personality and has settled into foster life remarkably well.


He enjoys being part of a busy household with other dogs and is perfectly happy to seek out his favourite people when it’s time for some attention. He’s also discovered the joys of sofa cuddles, which he takes very seriously.


There’s an endearing resilience about him. He simply gets on with enjoying his life.
