HER STORY


Chumba is now safely in the care of AA Dog Rescue, where her gentle personality has had the opportunity to shine.


She gets along well with other dogs and appears particularly comfortable in their company. Their presence seems to bring out her confidence, making a suitable canine companion potentially a lovely addition to her future home.


With people she doesn’t know, Chumba can be timid initially, so she’ll benefit from calm introductions and the opportunity to build relationships at her own pace.


At approximately 35kg, she’s a substantial girl who will need a family comfortable with the needs of a larger dog.

Chumba is a lovely older girl with an endearing personality and a quiet confidence that shines through when she’s with her canine friends. She can be a little reserved with unfamiliar people, but she enjoys her walks and is happiest when she has the opportunity to explore.

Chumba has a wonderfully balanced nature.


She is a little cautious when meeting people she doesn’t know, but around other dogs she is much more confident and comfortable. She enjoys canine company and has shown herself to be a lovely presence around her fellow dogs.


One of her favourite things is getting out for a walk. She walks well on her lead and loves taking her time exploring, following interesting scents and seeing what’s happening beyond the shelter.
