HIS STORY


Errol came into our care after his owner sadly passed away.


Losing his home later in life must have been a huge change, but Errol has adapted well to his new surroundings.

He currently shares his kennel with a female dog and they get along beautifully. They happily share their food, toys and sometimes even their bed, showing just how comfortable Errol is with canine companionship.


When he’s out walking, Errol is calm and easy to handle on his lead. He shows no aggression towards other dogs he encounters and is much more interested in enjoying his outing, getting some exercise and investigating all the new scents.


At approximately 38kg, Errol is a big boy, but his gentle, mature personality makes him a wonderfully peaceful presence.

Errol is a wonderfully laid-back older gentleman who has an easy-going nature and a quiet appreciation for the simple things in life. He enjoys gentle walks, exploring new smells and, most of all, the company and affection of people.

Errol is a very relaxed boy who doesn’t seem fazed by much.


He’s confident when meeting new people and welcomes attention rather than being worried by strangers. He also enjoys getting out of the shelter for his walks, where he takes his time exploring and gathering all the interesting smells along the way.


At his age, Errol has a wonderfully settled temperament and would make a lovely companion for someone who appreciates a quieter pace of life.
