HIS STORY

Fitzroy is a stunning young Collie cross with a gentle soul and a sensitive nature.

Although we cannot know exactly what his life looked like before rescue, he appears to have come from an environment where he experienced neglect and very little kindness.

When he first arrived, he lacked confidence and found the world overwhelming. Even leaving the safety of his kennel felt like too much to ask of him.

Slowly but surely, with the support of dedicated volunteers, Fitzroy is beginning to blossom.

He is now enjoying short walks and is learning that human hands can bring comfort, affection, and safety rather than fear.

Fitzroy currently shares his kennel with two other dogs who also arrived in poor condition, and he gets along beautifully with them, finding reassurance in their company.

Every day brings another small step forward, and every day his confidence grows a little more.
