HIS STORY

Winston is currently in the care of AA Dog Rescue, where he has shown staff what a loving little character he is.

He may initially need some encouragement, but affection and reassurance help him relax. His friendships with other dogs are important to him, and he appears happiest when he has familiar canine company around him.

WINSTON – A LITTLE BOY WHO JUST NEEDS TO KNOW HE’S SAFE

Winston is an adorable little Terrier with a gentle, slightly timid nature. He can take a little time to feel comfortable, but once he does, he readily accepts the love and affection offered by the staff who care for him.

He is a quieter character than some of his friends and is perfectly happy letting them take the lead. Yet when Winston is out walking and exploring, his confidence grows and we get to see another side of this lovely little boy.

FROM FOLLOWER TO CONFIDENT EXPLORER

Winston doesn’t need to be the leader. He is happiest following the dogs he trusts and taking reassurance from their confidence.

His walks are where Winston really comes into his own. Once outside, he becomes more assured as he investigates his surroundings, enjoying the opportunity to discover the world at his own pace.
