Feature Dogs for Adoption

We feature a select few of our dogs on this page that are in serious need of their homes. They may have been with us a while and are being seriously overlooked through no fault of their own or they may be older or have medical needs. It may be that they are none of the above, just that they are a fond favourite of our team and we want to feature them in the hope that you will fall in love with them as we have.

For more information on each of the dogs please CLICK on the image of the dog to open a larger version and more photos.  You can also follow the link on their first photograph to email a homing enquiry direct to us or just contact our homing team via email to homing@aadogrescue.org.uk.

Paul the Podenco!

Gorgeous Paul was born 13.01.21 He is typical of the podenco breed. Very clever and so elegant. He shares his kennel with 5 other dogs of similar size. He gets on with male and females without issues.

Paul would like someone who won't leave him for long periods and a garden where he can explore. He likes being a sun king.

He loves car rides, is gentle on his lead and a pleasure to walk. He can be rehomed with older children and families with other dogs.

He is neutered, blood tests all clear. He has his own passport and is ready to travel.

Two stray dogs were found by Silvia our lovely rescue partner. Little did she know but Jara was pregnant! Jara gave birth to 5 pups. The pups all survived and are now all in loving homes.

Jara is more than ready for a family of her own! She has now been spayed so no more babies for her! Time to be a much treasured & loved pet.

She is 15 kgs so small spaniel in size & is 4 years old (dob Jan 2019). She is a sweet girl & she gets along with all her kennel buddies. She is great on her lead, loves people and would be a fantastic family dog.

Jara was born Jan 2019, she is in perfect health and all blood tests are clear.

She will have her own passport.

If you would like further information on Jara please contact our homing team via email homing@aadogrescue.org.uk

Little THELMA came into rescue from one of our partners here in Spain.

She is  is two & 1/2 years old (d.o.b. 11.11.2021) and a mixed terrier type small breed. She weighs around 10kg.

Thelma came into rescue with her sister Thiara who had now found a home. Both girls were extremely shy but are warming up nicely.

We would like a calm home for her perhaps with older children who will respect her space and allow her to continue to blossom in her own time.

A home with another dog would be perfect for her. She likes to play, is super submissive and will walk away from any grumbles. She is fantastic at sharing food/toys etc with the other dogs in her kennel. She loves to lay in their basket and snooze in the sunshine.

She will need a secure garden.

She has her own passport and is ready to travel.
