New people, new environments and unfamiliar situations were all very overwhelming for him. Thanks to the patience and consistency of the shelter staff, Ulises has gradually begun to trust. Over time he allowed staff to touch him and eventually accepted being fitted with a lead so he could begin going for walks. Ulises is still a nervous boy around strangers and will sometimes bark if approached by someone he does not yet trust.
